This adage which describes, seeing the grand in even the smallest form could not explain better what we all have perceived over the past year and half… with the zeal to make every meeting cherishable, the new committee under the most able leadership of Dr. Asif assumed office on June 4th 2021 on zoom platform followed by a grand musical program “PUTHUMAZHAYAAYI”. The new committee, its members and their unique mission was conceptualized in the first committee meeting held on 21st April on zoom platform. Region 1 chairman Dr. Asif presided over the meeting held in zoom platform and was attended by around 120 members of AKMG Abu Dhabi family and by a few esteemed guests from other regions as well. The outgoing committee headed by Dr. Fazal Ashiq was given a standing ovation for shifting the activities very seamlessly to the online platform and for keeping the spirit and ethos of AKMG alive amidst the COVID pandemic. “PUTHUMAZHAYAAYI” – The installation event was highlighted by the soulful musical extravaganza presented by the musical troupe from Kerala (Sameer Umbayee & team) a group of gifted young artists of our home land. The well-organized musical fiesta which mesmerized the audience, run by Dr. Renu, Dr. Padmanabhan and Aravind, proved to be great head start for the new committee.
