Region 4 conducted the second family get-together of this tenure on 25th September 2022, at Move n Pick Hotel, Oud metha, Dubai. Around 280 people from R4 families attended this function the occasion was blessed by the presence of Dr. George Joseph, President, Dr. Safarulla, SG, many central senior leaders and regional leaders. After many discussions and meetings the theme 1001 Arabian Nights was chosen. The rehearsals and other preparations were done under the leadership of our cultural convener Dr. Nita Salam and her team. All participants dressed in Arabic traditional costumes, including our guests made the events very colorful and gorgeous. It was a fun filled evening with right mix of entertainment and socializing. The photo booth and beautiful interior done by our own children Aysha Arif and Aysha Junus fetched a lot of appreciation. Arabic sweets making, Henna designing and kid’s fancy dress competitions were conducted on that day. A kid’s zone was setup to entertain small children.
The musical drama, based on 1001 Arabian Nights story has been the highlight of event. The script was written by Dr. U. Varma and the direction by Dr. Arif, they did a wonderful job. All actors and dancers who were doing rehearsals tirelessly during the previous days have performed exceptionally well. The music club of R4 entertained the crowd throughout the programme with old and new songs. New members were inducted on the day. Finally the amazing DJ unleashed the dancers within Region 4 family. Our members and guests enjoyed this fabulous evening thoroughly.
