With mountain range on one side and Gulf of Oman on the other, Region 5 is one of the most pleasant area to spend the weekend without leaving the country. Region 5 comprises of Fujairah- Khorfakhan, Dibba, Kalba. The Region was known as Fujairah and East Coast during earlier days.

The region started with 8 members and Dr. Ajar Kumar as the President in 2014 and has 49 members today. Though relatively a small region in terms of number, the members are actively involved in regional activities and served as part of central leadership team from the very beginning. Our members play a significant role in serving the expatriate population associating with other social organizations in the region. The major activities include, but not limited to Continuing Professional Development Programs, Medical Aid camps, Informative talks for Public, Annual Convention, Sports and Family gatherings. Region played a major role in bringing new dimension to AKMG Sporting events by hosting Kalikkalam 2016.
